The countryside school

In the graduating year, I chose to have 3-month experience at a countryside middle school as a teacher. When I was there, I felt very excited with students even though they might make you angry sometimes. I still enjoyed the life there.

Then I felt so upset that English is somehow very difficult for the students there. Many of them wanted to study English well, but they are not easy to make a decision because of the difficulty. As a teacher, I did my best to encourage them and help them to get confidence. However it was not an easy thing. Most of them had bad experience with English and they were afraid of it. So many unsatisfied scores made them lose their confidence.

In my mind, they just like the batteries. Only if recharge them, can they make progress. The first thing they should do and all teachers should help them do is being confident.
